Mvura

Mvura is the sixth piece in my "Mirrored Lives" collection. This collection of 12 pieces is an examination of cultural ignorance and how it affects the way we see other people as well as an illustration of the differences and similarities in the lives of two teenagers from seemingly unlike cultures.

Mvura is a piece capturing the normal task of fetching water. Nyasha must walk miles to fetch water every day to provide for her family.
